Nigel Farage has come under renewed pressure after The Guardian published an investigation into more than 4,000 paid-for Cameo videos recorded over several years. The report, released on 17 March 2026, alleged that some of the clips included messages linked to extremist rhetoric, a convicted rioter and a neo-Nazi-linked event in Canada.

The newspaper also said its review found references to antisemitic conspiracy material, misogynistic remarks and slogans associated with the online far right. According to the report, Farage had recorded more than 4,300 videos on the platform and earned over £370,000 through Cameo since joining in 2021.

Farage’s allies pushed back on that interpretation. A spokesperson said the videos were personal messages and should not be treated as political statements or campaign material. Soon after the revelations, Farage stopped accepting Cameo requests, while also accusing The Guardian of obtaining information unlawfully — a claim denied by the paper, which said the material it used was public.
